The American Society of Evidence-Based Policing (ASEBP) is hosting their first conference May 22-23 in Phoenix, AZ to gather law enforcement personnel to discuss the incorporation of evidence-based approaches into their agencies and their overall effectiveness. DI Senior Research Associate and ASEBP member Jesse Flint will be attending the newly created society’s event to engage in strategy sessions concerning the society’s focus points of education, advocacy for use of evidence-based practices, and facilitation of research.
The ASEBP was founded by practicing police officers with the goal of shaping the current police culture with scientific evidence. Conference panels will range from evidence-based policing to predictive analytics and be moderated by academics who can provide research expertise to focus the discussions.
