Optimize your VR, AR and Mixed Reality experiences.
Cybersickness Evaluation
Our Cybersickness Design Suite includes a formative evaluation, which identifies potential design issues that may lead to higher levels of cybersickness. Our expert evaluators examine your VR / AR or Mixed Reality application or attraction and determine the likelihood your application or attraction will cause cybersickness. Our proprietary cybersickness best practices and design guidelines, which have been developed based on decades of cybersickness research, our the basis for our expert evaluations.
Results Include
- Summary of your VR / AR or Mixed Reality content
- Comprehensive list of experience design issues
- Redesign recommendations
Our Cybersickness Design Suite includes a subjective evaluation, which involves user testing your VR / AR or Mixed Reality application or attraction and rating its physiological comfort. Typically, participants will experience the application/attraction while expert observers watch, listen, and take notes. After exposure, participants complete a survey to assess system comfort. The goal is to determine the physiological impact of your VR / AR or Mixed Reality application/attraction on participants and rate it against other comparative systems.
Results include:
- Simulator Comfort (SIC) Rating
The Predictive Cybersickness Index (PCSI) evaluations, a VR/ AR or Mixed Reality application/attraction by immersing testing the experience while simultaneously monitoring physiological measures throughout XR exposure. The goal is to identify the extent of cybersickness problems during exposure via the collection of quantitative physiological data and determine the impact of the the application/attraction on participants.
Results include
- Objective PCSI assessment
- Physiologically-based Simulation-Immersion-Comfort (P-SIC) Rating
