Human Performance Evaluation

Conduct human participant studies investigating physiological and psychological effects of XR technologies, including, experimental design, scenario generation, qualitative / quantitative metrics development, data collection, statistical analysis, predictive modeling and simulation

Front-End Analysis

Perform literature review, observation studies, contextual inquiries, stakeholder interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, diary studies

Task Analysis

Complete job and work analysis, hierarchical task analysis, cognitive task analysis, goal directed task analysis, sensory task analysis to break down complex tasks and understand user’s perspective

Functional Requirements Analysis

Identify product/system features/functions that must be implemented to enable users to accomplish their tasks with high levels of human-system performance

Human-Systems Interface Design

Translate task analyses and functional requirements results into interface designs using design thinking, cognitive engineering, brainstorming, story mapping, affinity diagram, conceptual model, workflow reengineering, storyboarding, participatory design, parallel design, information architecture, card sorting, UI/UX design, wireframes, and iterative design

Usability Engineering

Develop and apply heuristics, conduct user interviews, focus groups, card sorting, cognitive walkthroughs, think aloud, and user testing
